Our Story

Chef Lawrence Owen was born in  Jamaica in , Lawrence , who taught him how to cook, Lawrence began working in the kitchens of internationally acclaimed resorts in Jamaica. After a decade spent developing his passion for cooking and honing his culinary skills, Lawrence traveled to the United States where he worked at different places. Once here, he worked in fine dining and spent time working with a local Caribbean restaurant.

Lawrence has dreamed of owning his own restaurant since he was young, so he is extremely excited to bring his love for Caribbean culture and authentic Jamaican food to the Twin Cities.
